The Giving Tree understands the importance of communication. We know children who are given the opportunity to communicate openly, flourish among their teachers and peers. Communication gives everyone a sense of belonging and comfort, and that’s what The Giving Tree is all about. Communication is important on all levels at The Giving Tree. It’s imperative parents also feel connected. Some of our communication measures for families include: · the ability to call the school owner or administrator any time · classroom telephones where teachers can be contacted directly, for parents to check on their child · daily written reports about each child’s daily activities and progress; including individual updates on naps, toilet training, meal times, and homework · parent newsletters to keep families abreast of the current class projects, community events and school socials · caring, encouraging staff who include parents in all facets of the child’s progress and achievement · The Giving Tree also emails and uses facebook to communicate all important reminders to our families. · an open environment where parents feel welcomed to ask questions and voice concerns · on site owner who is focused on upholding the highest standards and always available to staff and families.
